Some Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How much time do I need to allow?
A. A first treatment will take up to one and a half hours as I will need to take a Medical History from you.

Each subsequent treatment will take approx one hour.

Q. How much will a treatment cost?
A. Treatments cost £30 (for Harrogate visits) with a visit lasting approximately one hour. For visits further affield I charge a little extra to cover petrol costs.

Q. How many treatments will I need to improve my condition?
A. Your own circumstances and needs will determine the number of treatments you will need - typically the longer you have suffered with a condition the more treatments it is likely to take to bring about a sustained improvement to that condition.
It is also important to note that the effects of Reflexology are cumulative, so I would probably recommend an initial course of between 6 - 10 treatments (dependant upon your needs) at regular intervals in order for you to see real improvements.

Q. How regularly should I have treatments?
A. Initially I would recommend either weekly or fortnightly treatments in order to maximise the benefits of the Reflexology treatments and in order for you to see real marked improvements in your presenting condition(s).
However, once a sustained improvement has been achieved (for example after several treatments) many people find a regular 'maintenance' treatment allows them to sustain their level of improved health. I would suggest that this is 3-weekly or monthly but this is dependant on how you feel, and on your body's needs.

Q. Can you come to my workplace rather than my home?
A. With the agreement of your employers I am happy to come to your place of work to give treatment(s) if this is more convenient for you - for example, in your lunch break.
All I need is a quiet room for an hour, where you feel you will be able to relax, and where you will not be interrupted by ringing phones and colleagues peering in!
(As I do for home visits, I will bring my Relaxer chair and all other equipment).
